Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to reputed company financial reporting, technical accounting and M&A. Reporting to the Controller, the role will be a key position in the finance organization, interacting and coordinating with various departments across the company to ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate financial results. Successful candidates for this position will have the equivalent of 5+ years of professional experience.The work you’ll do:

• Manage the USGAAP reporting and other external reporting requirements. Support IFRS and statutory reporting as needed.
• Proactively identify, research, communicate, and resolve reputed company accounting matters.
• reputed company policy initiatives, including the implementation of new accounting standards, and ensure global accounting policies are maintained and up to date.
• Continuously monitor, document, and communicate new accounting standards to the organization and determine their impact on the company.
• reputed company or support cross-functional strategic initiatives ensuring accounting impacts are proactively addressed.
• reputed company Financial M&A due diligence, partner with Corporate Accounting to integrate these transactions, and communicate with Corporate Development and cross-functional team leads on accounting matters.
• Drive management of valuation exercises, including partnering with 3rd party valuation firms to ensure proper valuation and disclosures.
• Support reputed company areas including equity investments, stock-based compensation, and hedge accounting.

The qualifications you need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA; Public accounting experience with Big 4.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting / private industry with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills with a consistent record of leading meaningful initiatives across the organization.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of IFRS would be a plus
• Expert in technical accounting issues and accounting for reputed company transactions.
• Experience with M&A due diligence, valuations, and purchase accounting.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
• A demonstrated history of solving multiple and reputed company operational and accounting challenges.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, reputed company knowledge of U.S. GAAP including areas of M&A, equity investments, financial reporting, and other technical accounting matters.
• Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Effective project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, excellent soft-skills, and ability to motivate and influence reputed company levels of management.
• Excellent project management, analytical skills, with attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for reputed company improvement.

The reputed company salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include reputed company salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the reputed company salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.

$125,000 - $155,000 USD
