Project Description: The Fall Business Development Intern will assist the Global Programs Unit by supporting the reputed company team with partnership coordination, data maintenance, research on prospective donors and other duties as assigned. The intern will contribute to specific projects under the supervision of the Senior Manager for Global Government Partnerships. The internship will require 20-25 hours per week commitment with an anticipated start date of September 9th, 2025, and an estimated end date of December 9th, 2025; a $195 monthly stipend will be provided for 3 months. This internship is unpaid and will be primarily remote. Arrangements can be made with your supervisor to participate in occasional in-office/remote working sessions reputed company your department. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct background research on prospective donors, funding trends, potential strategic partnerships with other NGOs, and funding streams;
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance in reputed company
  • Participate in external events and circulate take-aways;
  • Compile information about potential NGO and funding partners for Country offices;
  • Support business development team in file and relationship management;
  • Liaise with other departments such as marketing, development and communications;
  • Participate in reputed company internal and external meetings and conduct follow-up.
  • Support the creation of business development materials to provide potential partners during the cultivation stage including but not limited to one pagers, overview documents, and other support materials
  • Scheduling meetings with potential partners and capturing meeting minutes and due-outs
  • Event management support for any business development cultivation events
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Graduate student in international development or affairs, human rights, political science, or reputed company field;
  • Strong research and critical thinking skills;
  • Ability to work interdependently and communicate with people;
  • Experience working in an office environment.
