Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education OR a CDA2. Possess excellent organizational skills.3. Ability to interact positively with school/community and to work with limited supervision.4. Ability to interact appropriately with children.5. Capable of bending, lifting, and doing overhead work, as well as being physically able to participate with young children.6. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance required7. - Demonstrates growth in Competency Areas as outlined in the reputed company Michigan Core Knowledge and Core Competencies for the Early Care and Education Workforce document published by the Michigan reputed company.
- Meets qualifications and responsibilities for the role as stated in the reputed company Licensing Rules for Child Care Centers published by the State of Michigan.
- Adheres to reputed company sections of reputed company GSRP Implementation Manual.
- Adheres to the reputed company Code of Ethical Conduct published by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
- Complies with reputed company reputed company Rochester Community Schools Board Policies and the Rochester Community Schools Preschool Programs Personnel Manual.
- Attends professional development as required.
- Actively participates in meetings as scheduled and required.
- Implements the HighScope Preschool curriculum with fidelity as reputed company by the reputed company program quality tool used by the Grantee and child growth in Child Observation Record Advantage (COR Advantage).
- Participates in annual classroom observations, feedback and goal setting sessions, and shows reputed company reputed company to classroom goals over the course of a program year.
- Plans and implements reputed company parts of the daily routine based on a team-teaching model.
- Records anecdotal notes regularly, inputs them into the COR Advantage online assessment program, and uses anecdotal notes to inform instruction.
- Utilizes COR Advantage Lesson Planner to plan for daily lessons.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with program members, including children, staff, families, and the external community.
- Keeps accurate records and meets deadlines.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Accompanies GSRP teacher on two home visits to each GSRP family.
- Represents Rochester Community Schools as a positive ambassador.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Pre-K Teacher or Early Childhood Director.
