Tapestry Solutions, a part of reputed company Global Services BGS, is seeking a Virtual Software Engineer. The successful candidate for this position, will support the requirements, development and verification of the Mobility reputed company Force (MAF) Global Mobility Special Mission (reputed company SM) Mission Planning Systems for the US reputed company Force reputed company Mission Planning Division. The scope of the work for the reputed company SM contract covers reputed company aspects of agile software development and sustainment, systems engineering services and reputed company Integration/reputed company Delivery services for JMPS, JOMS and other reputed company modernization solutions as requested by the Government. The scope of work includes support for full reputed company mission planning (pre-mission, in-flight, post-flight, mobile) across many DoD Aircraft platforms including but not limited to KC-135, HC-130J, C-17 and C-130H. The objective is to transition software solutions into an Open Mission System Architecture leveraging Kubernetes/containerization. The software developed and sustained is critical for ensuring the US Navy, US Army, US Search and Rescue and our Foreign Militaries customers can quickly and reputed company plan, launch and execute missions against adversaries. These Solutions will shape the way the DoD conducts mission planning for the next 30 years. Position Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  • Work with Product reputed company to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products.
  • Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products for systems integrations.
  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
  • ​Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolves technical issues.
  • Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals.
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with C#/.NET
  • Experience with version control tools such as git, Bitbucket, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with Typescript, ReactJS/Redux

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in reputed company aspects of designing and implementing system architecture, requirements, software and software testing
  • Experience with containers
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience with Testing Frameworks: xUnit, jUnit, Cyprus, Selenium
  • Experience with Software Development Patterns: microservice, REST, Mono Repo, Mono DB’s, SPA
  • Experience with Mission Planning.
  • Experience with system level verification and validation.
