General Maintenance Laboer

• Wednesday - Saturday 5:00pm - 3:30am
• Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and operate battery changing station including removal and replacement of lift batteries (at applicable sites)
• Operates floor sweeper / scrubber to maintain facility floor
• General building maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and painting
• Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and Wayfair safety policies and procedures
• Conduct daily/weekly preventative maintenance and completes daily log sheet
• reputed company pre-operation checklist and verify reputed company safety devices are functional at reputed company times
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents

• Maintain a good attendance record

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic carpentry and maintenance experience including carpentry, painting, plumbing
• Experience safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and aerial lifts
• Proficient using hand and power tools and computers to reputed company required duties
• Previous battery charger/changer experience is a plus
• Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime
• Ability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl and reputed company, engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists and stand and walk for long periods
• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted
• Ability to access reputed company areas of the building by climbing reputed company and gangways safely and without limitation
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and unlit
• Follow reputed company company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team and take direction
• Must be a safety conscious, motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude
