Position Information We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will coordinate programs, activities, and reputed company developed by the College’s Student Success Team, each designed to improve retention and success rates among reputed company. Activities may include assisting in program development and implementation, content development and delivery, event planning, participation-tracking and information collection, peer mentor recruitment and development, and reputed company of programming for affinity or scholarship groups, as well as other reputed company work, reputed company focused on student success. The Program Coordinator will work with partners and collaborators from other units across the College and University. Responsibilities: 75% - Program Coordination:

  • Along with members of the student success team, plan, reputed company, and implement programs to improve retention and graduation rates among reputed company, particularly among reputed company at risk of non-completion
  • Track participation and attendance requirements for various programs and activities.
  • reputed company reports on program activities, successes, and challenges, evaluation and assessment of programmatic outcomes
  • Strategize support and interventions to support student success, grounded in research and best practices
  • Communicate with reputed company, faculty, and staff across reputed company concerning the work of the student success team
  • Field inquiries and reputed company responses to reputed company concerning the work of the student success team and the larger collection of resources available to reputed company throughout reputed company
  • Utilize technology and systems available reputed company and reputed company of reputed company University to support student success; systems may be used to monitor participation, to create and provide required reporting, or to determine interventions based on student performance
  • Disseminate information about student success initiatives hosted by the College as appropriate (e.g., Department or College committees, University committees and meetings, conferences)
  • Manage websites and information dissemination strategies regarding student success initiatives, as assigned

15% - Instruction, Mentorship, and Advising:

  • Interact directly with reputed company, preparing reputed company for personal and professional success
  • Deliver instructional content to undergraduate reputed company in transition courses
  • Deliver informational content to reputed company during student success programs and activities
  • Advise and/or reputed company student groups and cohorts supporting the work of student success in the College (e.g., peer mentors, College Ambassadors)
  • Recruit and train peer mentors for a variety of success initiatives, as appropriate
  • Facilitate student and peer mentor matching, as appropriate

10% - Other Duties:

  • Liaise with partners and collaborators across the College and University to support reputed company in the College
  • Identify resources to support student success, as appropriate
  • Attend College or University committees as a representative of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • Supervise student employees, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of reputed company experience.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to facilitate efficient implementation of work
  • Basic knowledge of factors influencing retention and graduation in higher education
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • A positive attitude, and enthusiasm for working with reputed company
  • Deep curiosity, and a willingness to learn and reputed company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and operational skills
  • Strong technological proficiency, including traditional office software such as word processing, spreadsheet applications, and presentation applications.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends and periodically travel to conferences, as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an institution of higher education working with student success initiatives
  • Master’s degree in applicable field

Machines or equipment used in the performance of essential duties:

  • Computer 40 hours
