Job Description

Summary: reputed company is seeking a highly skilled Chinese-Mandarin Linguist/Translator to support a short-term training development support project supporting the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The project is expected to last no more than 30-days and will include translation and voice-over work in the development of reputed company virtual training material. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Will provide linguistic subject matter expertise.
• Translate medical texts and documents from English into Chinese-Mandarin
• Provide voice-over recordings of provided material into Chinese-Mandarin.

Job Requirements Required Qualifications:

• Must possess professional proficiency (ILR 4) or higher in the Chinese-Mandarin language across reputed company four modalities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• Fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Know specialized vocabulary (and terminology) in both English and Chinese-Mandarin reputed company to medical terminology
• Translate in a manner that is factually and conceptually accurate without changes, omissions, or additions.
