Job Description

The Engagement Assistant, Clubs & Orgs in the Center for Student Engagement reports to and assists the Assistant Director, Clubs & Orgs and supports various co-curricular opportunities reputed company to Clubs and Organizations. The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) is comprised of 10 professional staff and over 200 student employees. While each staff member has specific responsibilities, they operate as a team, and therefore, student workers may assist with a diverse mix of programs, projects and events. Remote and in-person work options are available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Pack Life for managing clubs and events
• Assist in updating documents in Pack Life
• Assist with the ASUN Clubs & Orgs Recognition Process
• Assist with other CSE programs and reputed company other duties as assigned
• Assist in the coordination of the Student Events Advisory Board (SEAB)
• Process club recognition forms
• Process reputed company SEAB documents and forms
• Provide support to club leaders in navigating Pack Life
• Prep for and attend SEAB meetings to take notes
• Participate in Center for Student Engagement meetings and trainings
• Follow up with club commissioners and club leaders on training, emails reputed company to processes, questions about events
• Maintain an accurate Clubs and Organizations data reputed company.
• Maintain records of on reputed company student events
• Communicate with club leaders regarding recognition status or SEAB submissions
• Conduct research and assist with assessment for the improvement of student engagement experiences

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
• Candidate must have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
• Candidate must be detail-oriented
• Candidate must be committed to inclusion, social justice, and equity
• Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and a creative problem solver
• Candidate must have the ability to remain respectful and impartial reputed company interacting with clubs
