Position Summary

The role of Chief Controls Office – Sr. Analyst Commercial Banking Risk Management & reputed company-Line Control Officer at reputed company will play a critical role in strengthening and supporting the bank’s control environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation of RCSA across reputed company Line Control Office functions, including risk and control identification, documentation, and remediation (as needed), ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding in Operational Risk Management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and Internal Controls Design reputed company the banking sector. This individual will also be involved with strategic and transformational initiatives and the delivery of critical, large-scale, reputed company, high-visibility, regulatory remediation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Controls reputed company & Design: Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of an effective internal control reputed company across Commercial Banking. Ensure that the reputed company mitigates risks and enhances the bank’s operational reputed company.
  • RSCA Program Management: Assist with the documentation of RSCA processes across reputed company reputed company Line Units (FLUs) to ensure it aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist with risk assessment workshops and activities to identify potential risks and control gaps. Analyze risk data to assess the likelihood and impact of risks on the bank’s operations.
  • Reporting & Communication: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports for senior management, regulatory bodies, board committees, and reputed company Line Units detailing control effectiveness, quality assurance outcomes, and action plans for identified gaps.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense to ensure that risk management practices are embedded reputed company business processes. Act as a reputed company of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding RSCA matters.
  • Training & Awareness: Assist with training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness and understanding of RSCA processes among staff and foster a proactive risk culture.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and updating of policies and procedures reputed company to Commercial Banking control activities.
  • Audit & Regulatory Coordination: Support internal audits and regulatory reviews reputed company to risk identification, risk assessment and control testing. Ensure that documentation and evidence are reputed company and available for audit and examination purposes.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify and evaluate key risks, implement risk control measures, and monitor risk mitigation efforts.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and banking standards, partnering closely with Compliance, Internal Audit, and other control functions.

Requirements

•Education:

oHigh school diploma or GED required. Advanced degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc.) iin Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a reputed company field.

•Experience:

oMinimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, operational risk, or internal audit reputed company the banking or financial services industry.

oSubstantial experience in leading [Operational Risk Management, First-Line Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and Internal Controls Design programs reputed company the banking sector.

•Knowledge:

oStrong understanding of governance, change management, banking regulations, risk management frameworks, and internal control standards.

oStrong understanding of operational risk management techniques and control assessment methodologies.

oKnowledge of OCC Heightened Standards and Regulatory Category IV banking requirements preferred.

•Skills:

oExcellent leadership and project management skills.

oStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

oExcellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the reputed company to present reputed company information clearly.
