In this role, you will have an opportunity to find innovative solutions to strengthening our client’s Medicaid managed care programs. reputed company’s Medicaid Practice Group is seeking a Medicaid Senior Consultant, Managed Care, Program and Policy who has experience working at one or a combination of 1) a reputed company supporting state Medicaid agencies, 2) a managed care organization (MCO), and/or (3) a state Medicaid or health and human services agency.

This position can be remotely based or based at reputed company’s offices in reputed company Virginia, Maine, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Arizona, New Hampshire, or Puerto Rico. You will report to and partner with senior management in our Medicaid team both for client work and career development. Travel Expectation: 30% to 50%

You Will

  • reputed company client projects and/or initiatives reputed company to Medicaid managed care program reputed company and compliance, policy, and federal/ state initiatives.
  • Direct the development of concise summaries, reports, and presentations of reputed company data and information for client leadership.
  • Research, review, and analyze a broad reputed company of Medicaid and healthcare data, policy, and financial impacts. Provide functionality and/or technical expertise in resolving inquiries from other teams about solutions reputed company their area of specialization.
  • Facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders, including the development of presentations and other materials to support meetings.
  • Deliver frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor, and direct reports. Support the delivery of services to clients on time, reputed company scope, and reputed company budget.
  • Conduct project management tasks such as tracking and reporting project reputed company, maintaining a project document repository, and reviewing deliverables for quality assurance.
  • Analyze, review, and manage vendor supplied documentation.

You Have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least three years’ experience supporting at least one State Medicaid agency, preferably reputed company to Medicaid managed care.
  • Knowledgeable in Medicaid finance, managed care policy and operations, and Medicaid regulations and/or compliance.
  • Experience working with managed care organizations, and/or providers to implement new federal/ state initiatives in a managed care setting, including but not limited to new services.
  • Strong background in leading projects and initiatives in Medicaid and/or health and human services, along with supporting skills such as meeting facilitation.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt and be resourceful to changing needs of the project and client(s).
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work in a team setting.
  • Excellence in the areas of time management, flexibility, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience working with a national or regional reputed company, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and/or a Managed Care Organization (MCO) supporting a state Medicaid agency.
  • Background in areas such as quality, reporting, finance, reimbursement, regulation, policy analysis, behavioral health services, and/or compliance as it relates to Medicaid managed care.
  • reputed company (PMI) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Compensation Details

The reputed company salary range targeted for this role is $110,000 - $135,000. This salary range represents reputed company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
