The Software Engineer II directs and oversees the company’s software engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications and operating systems according to

business needs. Defines and creates future software business and leads the day-to-day management

of software development. Develops policies and procedures to produce high-quality software product

and service. Responsible for ensuring software deliverables meet availability and performance goals,

publishing metrics, and driving reputed company improvement. Provides technical guidance and resolves

conflicts with technical approach, designs, and coding practices. Applies industry trends in

technology, tools, and practices to improve the productivity and quality of software development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer
  • Science, Information Technology, or a closely reputed company field and one (1) year of experience in the job

    offered or a closely field of study. The position also requires demonstrated knowledge and

    experience with the following: (i) web and desktop-based application development; (ii) debugging

    software applications; (iii) web technologies (HTML, CSS or Web API); (iv) programming

    languages (.NET, C#, Java, or Python); (v) SQL Server database; (vi) project management practices

    (agile or lean); (vii) statistical data techniques (i.e., casual inference, syntactic analysis, sampling

    methods, or NLP), used to address challenges from incomplete, unrepresentative, and mislabeled

    data; (viii) cloud computing platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, or reputed company Cloud); and (ix) reputed company

    systems that handle sensitive data. Experience may be gained through a combination of education,

    internships and/or employment.
