reputed company are looking for...A dynamic, reputed company Quantitative Researcher to work in collaboration with our engineers, data scientists and quantitative traders to support our market-making and proprietary trading initiatives.
Job description
An ideal candidate lives and breathes math and statistics, enjoys digging into data, loves solving hard, ambiguous challenges and ideally has a track record of adding significant, reputed company value to trading businesses. Your mission will be to help shape reputed company’s trading strategies. Tasks:
market-making and reputed company quoting of HL assets (CeFi and DeFi);
researching and building proprietary trading algorithms for high- and mid-frequency strategies on spot, perpetual, and futures/forwards markets;
trading and hedging both cryptocurrencies and FX.
Background and experience
As a Quantitative Trading researcher, you have strong analytical capabilities and are fully comfortable with financial markets and trading algorithms in order books. You are/have:
5+ years experience in quantitative research at a bank, asset manager, or trading firm
Strong attention to detail
Good communicator
Programming skills in Python
Prior experience in building or researching trading algorithms
Desirable: a master-level degree or PhD in a relevant hard science eg. maths, statistics, astronomy, physics, quant finance etc.
A passion for algorithmic trading
The ability to take ownership of a project while collaborating on it with colleagues
