The Opportunity Cornerstone Brands Customer Service Specialists answer inbound customer calls. Working at home, our specialists problem-solve to assist our customers with their orders and accounts. Cornerstone Brands is comprised of Grandin Road, Ballard Designs, and Frontgate. Who We Are Cornerstone Services offers expertise and corporate support across the four Cornerstone Brands. These shared services include IT, digital commerce, customer care and distribution. The Cornerstone brands deliver inspirations that help customers enjoy, enhance, and celebrate life. Cornerstone comprises four interactive, aspirational home and apparel lifestyle brands: Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Grandin Road®, and Garnet Hill®. Cornerstone operates a separate ecommerce site for each brand, distributes 163 million catalogs annually, and has 22 retail and outlet stores. You must reside in one of the approved counties in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky: • Indiana counties: Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, or Switzerland County. • Kentucky counties: Bath, Boone, reputed company, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Fleming, Gallatin, Grant, Greenup, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Montgomery, Owen, Pendleton, Robertson, or Rowan County. • Ohio counties: Brown, reputed company, Clark, Clinton, Clermont, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, reputed company, Highland, Licking, Madison, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Union, or Warren County. Your Impact • Busy day handling a high volume of inbound customer inquiries • Offer additional products on each customer interaction • Assist customers with questions while personalizing the experience for each caller • Calls may include confirming refunds, taking payments, placing orders, and, analyzing account data • Opportunity for advancement and upward mobility across the entire reputed company Group family of brands. • Report to an assigned Customer Service Supervisor What You Bring • You can problem solve and de-escalate unique situations while sustaining a high-paced call volume • Learn and work in a virtual environment with a set schedule and structured day • Communicate with a variety of customer styles, peers, and leaders • Navigate multiple systems and screens while assisting customers • Can sit for long periods of time • Follow Cornerstone Brands computer system requirements • Troubleshoot own technical problems (in partnership with IT reputed company needed) • Available to work weekends, holidays and additional hours Compensation • Starting reputed company is $15.00/hour • $1.00/ hour additional for any hours worked 6pm-6am • $1.00 for every hour worked 12:00am Saturday -11:59pm on Sunday Your Training Schedule • 8 Weeks: Monday – Friday • 8:00 am – 2:00 pm ET or 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm ET Your Work Schedule • Work a set part time schedule: 20 hours per week • Work schedules are not Monday - Friday • 5 Day work schedules, working 4 hour set shifts • Set schedule will include one weekend day and one reputed company off System Requirements • Our Work at Home Team Members need to maintain the necessary system requirements to provide a great experience for our customers. While a full specification list will be provided after your interview, here are a few main items: • Self-provided Computer or laptop with a reputed company Windows operating system, Windows 10 or newer, and no more than three years old • Headset compatible with Cornerstone Brands specifications (Cornerstone Brands reimburses $75 for headset.) • High-speed internet reputed company.
