Homebound services are provided to a student reputed company a licensed medical physician determines that the student will be out of school due to a medical condition for a minimum of two consecutive weeks or more or on an ongoing intermittent basis, with the expectation to equal or exceed 10 school days during one school year. Homebound services provide instruction at home by an Illinois certified licensed teacher. The goal of Homebound Services is to afford the student learning opportunities at the same grade level and is designed to prepare the student to return to the classroom upon recovery.
