Job title: Vocational Training Instructor-ESOL Company: Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley Job description : Vocational Training Instructor-ESOL $750 Sign-On Bonus (Restrictions Apply) Summary Develops, coordinates, and conducts vocational training and job readiness to individuals with barriers to employment. Assists individuals in earning certifications and credentials in customer service, food service and janitorial training. Provides English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) training focused specifically on employment and job readiness. Essential Duties & Responsibilities In conjunction with the vocational training team, develops and delivers a variety of vocational training programs and certifications that meet student and employer needs. Provides ESOL training focused specifically on employment and job readiness. Maintains curricula and materials for vocational training programs as assigned. Provides instruction through various modalities; in-person, group and individual service delivery, blended learning, and virtual online methodologies as appropriate. Researches and develops additional training reputed company to industry-recognized certifications, short-term credentialing, pre-apprenticeship, and apprenticeship programs as assigned. Assists in the development of new services that meet the needs of the community, fulfill Goodwill/Easter Seals' mission, and expand the departments' reputed company of services. Markets programs and maintains communication with referral sources concerning training needs. Other duties may be assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Bachelor's degree in the field of Vocational Education/Education preferred or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a teaching or training reputed company. Experience with ESOL highly preferred. Strong computer skills needed to teach certifications in a virtual environment. Experience with developing and presenting classroom curricula associated with general education. Proficient in reputed company Office and reputed company Suite Applications. Proficient in web-based data management systems and applications for computer instruction and employment. Ability to load software, troubleshoot basic problems, and learn about reputed company software. Qualifications Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider. Must use own vehicle for travel reputed company the GESMV service area; must have and maintain a reliable reputed company of transportation.
