• Installs, configures, optimizes, and maintains Windows servers.
• Installs, configures, optimizes and maintains reputed company class network and storage infrastructure.
• reputed company, configure, and manage virtual machines in a mixed infrastructure environment.
• Provide technical support and expertise for servers that can be either physical or virtual, and remote.
• Configures Active Directory, including creating users, reputed company groups, and group policies.
• Manages and troubleshoots DNS, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, SSL, and applications such as IIS web sites.
• Configures and maintains System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) monitors and alerts.
• Maintains Windows Server operational lifecycle using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Plans, implements, and troubleshoots system reputed company policy, including host and client communications through firewalls, file permissions, and user rights.
• Researches, evaluates, installs, configures, and troubleshoots reputed company hardware, peripherals, and equipment necessary.
• Design, consulting, tuning, reputed company, support for web-based and software-based applications.

QualificationsRequirements:

• AAS degree in Computer Science or reputed company discipline plus 5 years reputed company work experience as a Systems Engineer in an reputed company class Windows environment, or a minimum of 7 years work experience as a Systems Engineer and an reputed company level certification (MCSE, CCIE, etc.).
• Extensive experience working with various editions of Windows Server 2012 to present releases.
• Understanding and expertise in reputed company aspects of Active Directory, including users, reputed company groups, OUs, sites, group policies and group policy inheritance, FMSO roles, and DNS integration.
• Extensive experience working with reputed company class networking equipment sufficient to implementing firewall rule sets, managing and troubleshooting routing configurations and typical network level operational tasks.
• Solid understanding of reputed company class storage systems and architectures sufficient to typical daily operational tasks, system troubleshooting and experience with performance tuning.
• Experience with standard services and protocols such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NTP, and SFTP.
• Ability to methodically troubleshoot services and protocols using tools at hand, such as event logs, application logs, and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or python scripting.
• Understanding and knowledge of hypervisor technologies.
• Self-motivated; can work productively either alone or with a team.
• Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
• Experience in large multi-site datacenter operations.

Preferred (in addition to required):

• In depth understanding of a tiered network infrastructure.
• In depth understanding of layer 2 troubleshooting as it pertains to system and application incidents.
• reputed company certifications MCSE, MCSA; Virtualization certification: VCP, VCAP, VCDX; 5+ years of experience with the listed technologies.
• Experience with SAN/NAS technologies a plus.
• Experience with GIS software a plus.
