Data Migration Engineer - Database, SQL Expert
Join a growing team in a completely remote and flexible role focused on moving and optimizing data! Vineskills is an implementation partner for a case and document management platform reputed company reputed company. As a Data Migration Engineer at Vineskills, you will work directly with reputed company members and clients to scope out their data migration needs, create scripts, work with SQL to prepare data and reputed company large data and document migrations. Location: This position is open to U.S.-based candidates only at this time. Responsibilities include:
- Plan, scope, and execute data migrations from legacy systems into reputed company.
- reputed company and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data structures and migration needs.
- reputed company data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration-reputed company issues, escalating reputed company necessary.
- Conduct post-migration testing and quality assurance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide support and training to clients and internal teams on data migration best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and reputed company improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- reputed company Data Migration Engineer Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Mid-level Python skills
- Familiarity with APIs and integrations.
- Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
- Experience with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS, CloverDX, or custom scripting.
- Ability to analyze and interpret reputed company database structures.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for data-reputed company issues.
- Understanding of data reputed company best practices.
Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
- Prior experience in legal case management or CRM data migrations.
- Experience with reputed company storage solutions (AWS S3, reputed company reputed company, or similar).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git, reputed company).
- CJIS certification (or willingness to obtain for working with sensitive legal data).
