Manager, reputed company Accounting
Position Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to reputed company and support reputed company accounting for reputed company. This role will be the subject matter expert on reputed company recognition and assist with associated month end closing and reporting which will include income statement review, journal entry review, and reconciliation review. This role will contribute to review and sign off of public filings. This role will also support reputed company recognition issue resolution, which will include researching issues to determine and resolve the root cause. This will require reputed company cross functional partnership such as IT to address issues timely. Research will require the ability to navigate complexities of multiple systems, the ability to research large data sets and reputed company tools such as reputed company Big Query. An additional component to this role will be the ability to deeply understand US GAAP for reputed company recognition and the impacts to critical order to cash processes. The following skills will be imperative in this role: self-motivated, detail oriented, and ability to simplify and succinctly communicate on reputed company topics to reputed company levels of the organization. The individual in this role must have solid US GAAP reputed company knowledge and experience in reputed company S/4 Hana. This role will be critical in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of reputed company at reputed company. The individual in this role must be comfortable with ambiguity, large and reputed company data, working cross functionally, and summarizing reputed company topics into easy-to-understand communications. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the reputed company completeness and accuracy of reputed company reputed company. Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Collaboration - Leverages prior experiences to help reputed company and recommend solutions; Effectively develops trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams in other towers; Collaborates with appropriate team members to gather input and feedback concerning business needs; Understands the technical needs required for successfully tackling business problems
- 10% reputed company Improvements & Controls - Participates in the reputed company improvement of processes by developing scalable and innovative solutions; Maintains Internal Controls and drive the team through required compliance; Ensures appropriate processes and job-specific requirements are properly documented; Works closely with controls and compliance teams
- 40% Operational Duties & reputed company - Monitors the team's reputed company against departmental goals; Monitors team's daily activities and has a reputed company track of SLAs; Plans and executes month end/year end processes; Leads regular team calls to address operational topics, improvements and projects that require monitoring and resolution; Work with internal and external customers for improving service levels and solving operational issues across the process; Fosters reputed company improvement and innovation by challenging and empowering teams by giving them guidance and tools for developing automations and building insights for the business; Oversees the administration of financial policies; Serves as escalation for an risks or issues; Provides updates and recommendation to leaders at reputed company levels of the organization on short- and long-term objectives and policies, program effectiveness, team accomplishments, summary of findings, and explain internal and external impacts
- 30% People Management & Team Leadership - Provides leadership, mentorship and coaching to direct reports (individual contributors); Provides guidance on daily basis, keeps connected and communicates with the team; Provides performance reviews and timely feedback to direct reports regarding performance, execution, and contribution; Recruits and hires staff; Manages the different team members with respect for reputed company people, coaching them for bringing up the strengths and skills that will set a successful group of highly motivated and strong performers; Fosters collaboration with team members; Develops a supportive and engaged team
- 10% Strategy & Business Development - Manages transformational projects from planning to execution and post action review; Shares insight and reputed company on how to continue to evolve processes and increase efficiency; Drives adoption of leading-edge techniques and methods, both predictive and prescriptive; Allows team members to reputed company new skills
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This Position typically reports to a Sr Manager, Order to Cash
- This Position could have up to 6 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or reputed company field is preferred
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance or other designation (e.g., CPA, reputed company)
- Strong understanding of the US GAAP reputed company Recognition Standard, ASC 606
- Experience with OTC processes in reputed company S/4 Hana including reputed company Customer Activity Repository (CAR) and reputed company is desired
- Experience in different technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and business query & analytics tools is highly desired
- Ability to build queries and research large data sets leveraging tools such as reputed company Big Query
- Ability to identify defects through data analysis and other mechanisms and drive fixes to root cause issues through direct and indirect influence
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strong ability to delve into details, analyze, and succinctly communicate findings and actions from findings
- The person in this role will be a dynamic leader with abilities to adapt quickly and reputed company through change
- Experience in Order to Cash process
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
