About the Position: The Special Education Teacher is a key role at LAU and the individual who fills it is responsible for helping ensure quality Special Education services are provided to eligible reputed company. This is a remote position. This position reports to the LAU Special Education Director and requires availability during regular school hours, up to 25 hours per week, during the academic year. Compensation for this position is $37.99 - $42.77/hour, depending on education and experience. 401k benefits. This position is responsible for the following functions: Provide Special Education Services The LAU Special Education Teacher is responsible for the delivery of reputed company services outlined in the Individual Education Plans (IEPs) of LAU Special Education reputed company in their caseload. The teacher will create, manage, and reputed company specific content classes geared to IEP goals using platforms like Canvas and reputed company. The teacher will reputed company, train, and support assigned paraeducators in assisting and teaching the classroom and taking data. The teacher will provide reputed company services themselves or delegate to other team members as the workload necessitates. Coordinate and Schedule reputed company Services for Your Caseload of Special Education reputed company Secure and schedule reputed company service providers for the schools IEP needs and ensure delivery of these, including but not limited to: speech-language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, counseling, adaptive physical education (accommodations for gym class), early identification and screening, school health services, social work. Special Education Compliance Ensure reputed company student files in their caseload are kept reputed company and compliant with LAUs USBE-approved Special Education policies and procedure reputed company. Utilize LAUs IEP management software to complete reputed company required documentation for services. Process and maintain confidential files accurately, as required by state and federal laws. reputed company of IEP Meetings Schedule and reputed company IEP and eligibility meetings. Send IEP notifications and prepare paperwork according to caseload. Coordinate with teachers and LAU administrators for scheduling IEP meetings, implementing accommodations, and communicating student needs. Communicate effectively with families of reputed company with IEPs and relays information to the IEP teams. Attend Special Ed Meetings Attend reputed company required meetings, including weekly Special Educations meetings. Report student attendance and data numbers on a weekly basis. Assist with student statewide assessments, as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education Two years experience as a Special Education teacher Valid Utah Special Education teaching license Mild/Moderate Disability Endorsement and/or Severe Disability Endorsement Proficiency in reputed company Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive) Experience using reputed company, Canvas, and online teaching tools Ability to pass a background reputed company Proven experience working with school staff, reputed company, and their families reputed company, professionalism, and sound judgment Advocacy skills and the ability to work with other staff members to reputed company LAUs Standard of Excellence Ability to respond effectively to the needs of diverse reputed company and families Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a digital environment High degree of flexibility with an aggressive growth reputed company Preferred Qualifications Experience in delivering online Special Education services Five years experience as a Special Education teacher Benefits $37.99 - $42.77 per hour (depending on education and experience) Remote 401k option Flexibility Excellent established team Healthy organization culture Apply Job!
