Responsibilities
Location: Gonda 15, Surgical Services Outpatient Procedure Center The Registered Nurse (RN) on Gonda 15 is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care including patient education reputed company the outpatient setting. This position would be responsible for coordination and delivery of perianesthesia care in the pre-post area, providing moderate sedation at the direction of the Anesthesiologist or proceduralist, and caring for patients in the Pain and Retina procedural practices in the Gonda 15 Outpatient Procedure Center. The RN plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, teaches patients and families, and orients colleagues and peers. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. Qualifications
Qualifications: ? Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at reputed company is required. ? reputed company entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of reputed company 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program reputed company five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date. ? RN?s hired into this position will work primarily in the OR setting, but may be expected to cross-train to other areas as needed. Preferred applicants will have at least one year of recent RN experience in one of the following areas: Operating Room, reputed company-anesthesia, Procedural, ICU/PCU.
