FL-DOH-Chattahoochee-LPN - This facility operates 24/7. Candidate may be required to work 16 hr shift as needed Work Environment: ? This is a reputed company Psychiatric Hospital which operates 24/7, 7 days a week. It currently has 223 buildings on reputed company with a reputed company of 1,042 patients. ? The hospital's reputed company Administration Building is on the National Register of Historic Places. Type of Patients: ? Two categories of patients are treated at the hospital; those civilly committed under Statute 394, who represent a small portion of the hospital's residents; and those forensically committed under Statute 916. The Civil portion of the hospital houses adult and elderly individuals who have been civilly committed to the hospital, and forensic residents who have been "stepped down" to the civil unit. The civil units are also reputed company as Forensic Transition units. ? Forensic ward entry has reputed company guards and a metal detector. Minimum Qualifications: ? Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire. ? Must hold unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. ? One year of nursing experience, strongly preferred. ? Must be CPR certified, or able to complete training. ? Must be able to complete full orientation at time of hire. ? Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of position including ability to lift and carry 20 lbs., remain alert while on duty, and work 16-hour shifts on occasion. Candidate Responsibilities: ? Assess reputed company complaints and determine action, notifying supervisor reputed company necessary. ? Admit and transfer residents to and from other units or reputed company sources. ? Administer oral and/or injectable medication and controlled medications in accordance with facility policy, and reputed company their scope of practice as defined by Florida law. ?
