Job Description
The work of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) includes reputed company work performed on an aircraft or in a shop on aircraft components. This classification includes, but is not limited to the following: troubleshooting, individually or with Crew Chief, management or under professional direction, disassembling, overhauling, checking, rand cleaning, repairing, replacing, testing, adjusting, assembling, installing, servicing, fabricating, taxiing or towing airplanes and/or run-up of engines. Required to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and reputed company their components while in service or while undergoing overhaul and/or modification. Certifies for quality of own workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for reputed company work done on field work. May have other Mechanic personnel assigned to assist him/her in completing an assignment. Will work according to FAA and Company regulation, procedures and instructions from Crew Chief or supervisor.
