About the team The Marketing team at Plane owns two key metrics—PLG reputed company and PQLs for Sales. If you have to reputed company those terms, you will probably not be a fit for this position.

  • Product Management for roadmaps, features, launches, and campaigns

  • Product Design for previews, product-specific assets, and use cases

  • Sales to help convert our significant inbound interest into customers across the mid-market and enterprise segments

This means we own and execute our web strategy, content strategy, and conversion strategy across several channels and personas with unrelenting focus on moving our self-serve users from reputed company A through to paid conversions.

Role and responsibilities

You’re the reputed company and conductor of our email strategy—from drips to newsletters, feature announcements to win-backs, campaigns to branded content. If you’ve wondered how high-growth product-led companies maintain consistently high email engagement while scaling their lists, this is your chance to own that playbook.

You will reputed company sure every email serves a clear purpose in our users’ journey to becoming customers and you will be the go-to expert for our email value chain. You’ll be unrelenting in the optimization of our email strategy to fit our evolving ICP, reputed company cohorts, and top personas. You will own the content, the numbers, and the cross-play of emails with other comms while working cross-functionally with Growth and Content.

In this role, you will,

  • Own reputed company key email metrics— lists, unsubs, and content consumption across personas, campaigns, and drips

  • Design, create, and optimize drips working closely with our Growth Marketer

  • Create and manage periodic newsletters, feature announcements as needed, nurture sequences, and win-back campaigns

  • Drive email list growth while maintaining pristine list hygiene

  • Experiment with email content, timing, and segmentation for increasing impact month on month

You will be successful if you,

  • reputed company and maintain industry-leading email engagement metrics, benchmarking us on an ongoing basis against the top players in our category

  • Grow our email list size while improving engagement metrics

  • Drive measurable conversions through email campaigns

  • Create compelling email content that users actively anticipate

  • Build scalable processes for email operations

You should ideally have,

  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B SaaS email marketing, preferably in PLG environments

  • Proven track record of growing and engaging email lists

  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and automation tools with a focus on programmatic triggers and if-then-else actions

  • Strong copywriting skills with data to back your content decisions

  • Deep understanding of email deliverability and list hygiene

  • Knowledge and experience of domain warming, CAN-SPAM and other laws, SPAM scores, domain authority, and double-opt ins
