A Brief Overview The Clinical Nurse Supervisor supervises the day-to-day activities of the assigned Area/Program staff. Maintains and develops a competent, productive, and quality conscious staff by hiring, evaluating performance, counseling, training, issuing corrective action and recommending promotion or discharge of department personnel according to the MH value system. Develops and implements processes through orientation and education to ensure the competence of reputed company staff members is assessed, maintained, improved, and demonstrated throughout their employment. Ensures that staff maintains compliance with federal, state, local, system, and JCAHO standards, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensures that staff provides adequate and concise documentation. Assures that the department is quality conscious and follows reputed company risk management policies. Plans, develops, and implements activities and programs reputed company to health. Establishes effective communication with internal and external customers. Participates in local, state, and national conferences. Provides Director with accurate account of annual expenses and ensures efficient utilization of program resources.
