About the position The Fulfillment Staff Pharmacist at Accredo in Memphis is responsible for interpreting physician prescriptions, compounding, and dispensing medications while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role involves managing workflow in the Fulfillment operations to guarantee accurate and timely dispensing of patient orders. The pharmacist will also handle reputed company problems, supervise support personnel, and maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities • Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. , • Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. , • Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions. , • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals. , • Supervises the work results of support personnel. , • Maintains reputed company registration and advises management on needed actions regarding legislation. , • Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols. , • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. , • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing reputed company results as needed.
