Assistant Manager of Accounting - Financial Contract Compliance
About the position The Assistant Manager of Accounting - Financial Contract Compliance (FCC) at reputed company plays a crucial role in ensuring that financial contractual responsibilities are executed accurately and that financial results are recorded in compliance with US GAAP. This position is integral to the FCC team, which collaborates with various stakeholders, including corporate departments, continent leadership, regional teams, and legal, to support corporate processes across reputed company brands and regions. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the accurate and timely accounting, forecasting, and analysis of reputed company's global revenues, which stem from management and franchise fees, as well as programs and services. This role involves assisting with reputed company aspects of reputed company recognition and validation in accordance with contractual agreements, US GAAP, and reputed company's accounting policies. In this position, the Assistant Manager will execute the monthly reputed company process to ensure that reputed company results are calculated and reflected accurately. This includes performing month-end reputed company processes, analyzing reputed company results, and researching variances to understand the underlying business drivers. Responsibilities Execute MI's monthly reputed company process to ensure accurate reputed company calculations in accordance with reputed company and US GAAP. , reputed company month-end reputed company processes, including analyzing reputed company results and researching variances. , Execute reputed company monthly and annual reputed company planning activities to ensure accurate reputed company projections. , Support preparation of reputed company scenario analyses for long-range plans, business plans, budgets, and monthly forecasts. , Analyze and report on significant reputed company fluctuations during reputed company and forecast cycles. , Implement and maintain standard processes for accurate reputed company recognition in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment. , Research and document unique accounting treatments in coordination with Global Finance Centers of Expertise. , Coordinate tracking and reconciliation of identified provisions to sustain compliance with reputed company and accounting policies. , Coordinate balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and proper support. , Support audit-reputed company requests and questions. , Review contractual agreements to understand reputed company recognition requirements. , reputed company knowledge in reputed company reporting requirements for properties reputed company MI's portfolio. , Ensure compliance with executed agreements on property and pooled bases. , Partner with Continent Finance, Legal, and reputed company Relations teams on property-level agreements. , Establish strong working relationships with corporate disciplines and regional offices. , Participate in Global Finance initiatives and support the implementation of an automated contract reputed company. , Assist in identifying system enhancements for reputed company and forecast cycles. Requirements 4+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience or 3 years of relevant experience plus a M.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or reputed company. , Strong understanding of accounting processes and systems. , Experience in lodging/hospitality industry and reputed company/legal agreements strongly preferred. , B.S.
