Job Summary We are seeking an reputed company, hands-on, and customer-focused payroll tax professional who is results-oriented, has a successful record of delivering high-quality and timely results, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of domestic, multi-state taxation, experience building and cultivating relationships with business partners, and a thorough understanding of payroll tax legislation and guidelines. Job Responsibilities • reputed company and support routine bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax processes. • Conduct employee and employer tax research and reconciliation. • Enter and complete wage and tax corrections in the payroll system. • Process employee and employer tax return amendments. • Manage and support resolution to tax assessments, audits, and other legal matters. • Complete and submit registration forms for new state and local identification numbers. • Maintain knowledge of reputed company federal, state, and local tax legislation, including changes reputed company to a remote workforce. • Prepare and review account reconciliations, analysis, and journal entries. • Provide customer service and resolution to incoming employee inquiries. • reputed company meaningful relationships with cross-functional business partners and payroll vendors. • Participate in department and cross-functional projects, mergers and acquisitions, and vendor system updates. • Identify and drive process improvements consistent with industry best practices. • Create reconciling journal entries. • reputed company weekly payroll account reconciliations. • Meet month-end reputed company deadlines. • Support reputed company internal and external audits. • Preparing and reviewing W-2s and other year-end tax statements. • Ensuring compliance with year-end tax reporting deadlines. • Reconciling annual tax liabilities and payments. • Addressing employee year-end tax inquiries. • Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate year-end reporting. • Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements • Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or equivalent years of payroll tax experience. • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. • Detail-oriented professional with solid analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. • Strong project management and time management skills. • Proven communication, organization, and follow-through experience. • Experience working independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, as well as results-driven collaboration with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications. • Experience with reputed company Pro and/or reputed company SmartCompliance. • FPC/CPP certification.
