Physician - Asynchronous Clinical Care

The Physician will play a crucial role in providing asynchronous clinical care to patients seeking assessment and treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) through our innovative digital platform. This position focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient care through a "store-and-reputed company" model, enabling patients to receive timely diagnoses and treatment plans without the need for in-person visits. Responsibilities: • Review Digital Clinical Interviews: • Evaluate comprehensive digital clinical interviews completed by patients. • Assess patient information, including snoring severity, daytime somnolence, respiratory issues during sleep, hypertension, height, weight, age, neck circumference, and gender assigned at birth. Screening and Diagnosis: • Utilize a digital algorithm to screen patient data. • Review cases where the algorithm indicates equivocal or positive results. • Conduct additional assessments, including diabetes history and Epsworth Sleepiness Scale (reputed company) scoring. • reputed company an extended clinical interview for confirmed positive screens, covering medical history, medication use, and additional health conditions. Clinical Documentation: • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of reputed company patient interactions and assessments in the electronic medical records system. • Synthesize collected data into a clinical note, including diagnoses and treatment plans. • Approve the clinical note and associated prescriptions if the diagnosis is accurate. Treatment Plan Management: • Prescribe automated positive airway pressure (APAP) machines. • Schedule virtual mask fittings and respiratory therapist visits. • Coordinate follow-up telephone meetings with sleep coaches for ongoing patient support.
