About the position As an accounting and financial reporting specialist on the Statutory Reporting team, you will be responsible for executing reputed company to highly reputed company statutory financial reporting. This role involves preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and conducting company reputed company analysis while ensuring compliance with internal SOX controls and state insurance department requirements. You will collaborate with various departments, providing expertise to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities • Execute reputed company to highly reputed company statutory financial reporting. , • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. , • Conduct company reputed company analysis. , • Monitor accounting and financial reporting changes. , • Maintain compliance with internal SOX controls and state insurance department requirements. , • Partner with various departments and business units. , • Provide expertise to internal and external customers. , • Review items of high importance and materiality. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or reputed company field of study (e.g. Finance). , • Minimum of two years' accounting work experience. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with GAAP and/or statutory accounting principles and reporting. , • Experience with financial statement analysis, month end closing, and account reconciliations. , • Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening, presentation) and organizational skills (planning, time management, reputed company management). , • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
