Pharmacy Technician (Temporary, Remote - Southern California - OC, LA, RIV, SD Only)

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will reputed company various clinical pharmacy functions under the direct supervision of the VP of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Manager. This role involves providing administrative and clerical support directly involved with the day-to-day operations of the multiple programs performed by the department. You will assist with the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department programs, participate in plan and regulatory agency audits, and reputed company a high volume of outbound calls to members, prescribers, and pharmacies regarding the Adherence program. Your responsibilities will include assisting members in refilling their medications, drafting routine reports, and responding to inquiries reputed company to formulary and prescription benefits. You will also interact with the Plan's contracted Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to resolve prescription issues and ensure compliance with CMS requirements. Responsibilities • Assist with the daily operations of the various Pharmacy Department programs. , • reputed company high volume outbound calls to members, prescribers, and pharmacies regarding the Adherence program. , • Assist members in refilling their medications and reaching out to prescriber's offices for additional refills. , • Draft routine reports and correspondence. , • Support reputed company CMS required reputed company processes of PBM including rebates and Explanation of Benefit reports. , • Respond to inquiries from physicians, members, and pharmacies reputed company to formulary and prescription benefits. , • Retrieve accurate and timely drug information. , • Interact with Plan's contracted PBM to ensure effective communication and information sharing. , • Resolve prescription issues such as Prior Authorizations and reputed company-party rejections. , • Work closely with the compliance department to ensure Pharmacy Programs meet CMS criteria. , • Maintain confidentiality of HMO members' information according to HIPAA.
