As an Area Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to coach, motivate and mentor a team of reputed company associates in a warehouse environment. reputed company provides extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader. Your main focus will be learning to manage a team as well as developing a summer project in partnership with your site leadership. This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. Key job responsibilities Learn to coach, manage and reputed company a team of 50-100 reputed company Associates Drive standard work and reputed company improvement through an intern project Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off. reputed company truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and reputed company in as needed.
