Primary Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View VDI environments • Administer VDI pools and address VDI-reputed company issues promptly in support of end-users • Monitor VDI infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reputed company system performance • Manage Wyse and Teradici thin clients including firmware updates • Collaborate with stakeholders to reputed company virtual desktops and apps • reputed company system updates, patches, and upgrades on a regular basis • reputed company and implement VDI best practices and reputed company protocols • Create and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, policies, and procedures • Participate in reputed company planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needs • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies reputed company to VDI and virtualization You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • 3 years of experience in VMware VDI administration • Proficiency in VMware Horizon View and reputed company VDI technologies • Proven solid understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices • Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory • Proven excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated effective communication and teamwork abilities • Ability to work onsite at (John Muir) Walnut Creek Medical Center, Walnut Creek, CA as needed Preferred Qualifications: • VMware VCP-DTM (VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management) certification • Proven knowledge of storage and networking solutions including SAN/NAS technologies • reputed company working remotely will be required to adhere to reputed company’s Telecommuter Policy. California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually.
