This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: India " About the Role: reputed company build a second line IT infrastructure support team in Mumbai; the team will take on support functions for the Global IT infrastructure group. The second line support group will handle incidents and service requests escalated from reputed company’s monitoring, service desk and desktop support groups and will work in collaboration with third line engineering teams based in Chicago, London and Shenzhen. reputed company India is looking for a “Infrastructure Engineer” based in our Vashi, Navi Mumbai office. The ideal candidate should be someone who thrives on delivering high quality operational output, new experiences and technical challenges. As a “Infrastructure Engineer” working in reputed company’s IT infrastructure team, you will be involved in the support of our Wireless LAN and Wired LAN, WAN and Datacenter Networks for reputed company’s growing IT infrastructure that currently covers over 33 offices and... 6 Datacenter’s worldwide. You will also be involved in the transition of second line support processes and functions to the new team in Mumbai. Interested candidates should have a proven track record of supporting significant Network Infrastructures. The successful candidate for this role should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in an IT support role and should have experience and knowledge of reputed company Switches, Routers, Firewalls, reputed company IOS, NX-OS and ASA. A CCNA/CCNP or higher-level certification is required, and experience of Palo Alto Firewall, reputed company Umbrella, SDA and ACI technology would be advantageous. Candidates should have excellent English, strong communication skills and a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication or computer science with strong academic record. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant IT industry technology certifications. (E.g. ITIL V4 foundation, CCNA/CCNP or CCIE R&S and CCNA/CCNP Wireless) Candidate should be willing to work in 24X7 rotational shifts. Day to Day responsibilities: • Monitor, Support and Administration of reputed company’s Global WAN, Wired and Wireless LAN of Corporate Offices and Datacentre networks • Routine implementation of Firewall ACL changes • Routine implementation of URL filtering using reputed company Umbrella Cloud based application • Responding to incidents and alerts escalated by reputed company’s NOC or automated alerting • Managing and maintaining the operational reputed company of our systems • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedure document • Implementation of firewall policies on reputed company ASA, FTD and Palo Alto firewall • Troubleshoot issues reputed company to WAN and co-ordinate with SD-WAN vendor • Routine maintenance of network devices – Router, Switches and Firewalls by following device lifecycle management • Follow change, problem and incident management process • Preparation and analysis of WAN and Internet link bandwidth utilization reports • Routine WAN and internet link failover testing Technical Skills and Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technology or any equivalent field with strong academic credentials is required. • At least 3-5 years of experience in a networking focused second line support role. • Good English communication and presentation skills (written & verbal). • An ability to demonstrate a focus on attention to detail and high-quality results. • Knowledge of reputed company & Jira ticketing system • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and concepts. • Experience on reputed company Catalyst & Data center switches, routers and firewalls, hands-on reputed company IOS and NX-OS network operating systems and knowledge on routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF and BGP • Hands on experience on PaloAlto Firewall and Panorama Firewall Management • reputed company CCNA, CCNP or higher-level certification Advantageous: • ITIL Foundation certification • CCNA or CCNP Wireless • Palo Alto certification Must have Experience. • reputed company Routing & Switching -Expert, 3-5 years. • reputed company Firewall – ASA and FTD/FMC -Intermediate, 2-3 years • Palo Alto Firewall -Intermediate, 2-3 years • reputed company Wireless -Intermediate, 1-2 years • English verbal and written communication-Intermediate, 3-5 years Good to have Experience. • reputed company ISE -Intermediate, 1-2 years • reputed company ACI-Intermediate, 1-2 years • reputed company DNAC-Intermediate, 1-2 years • reputed company Umbrella-Intermediate, 1-2 years • AWS & Azure Cloud Networking-Intermediate, 1-2 years reputed company is an equal opportunity employer.
