[Remote] VP of Marketing

The VP of Marketing will be responsible for shaping a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive B2B growth and establish Prolific's brand presence in the market.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned to company goals, with a strong focus on enterprise B2B growth
- Build, restructure, and scale the marketing organisation, including team design and operating model
- Establish rigorous performance management across demand generation and growth: pipeline, attribution, CAC/LTV, expansion, and ROI
- Develop and scale a high-performing B2B demand engine (ABM, field marketing, enterprise GTM) targeting AI labs and large organisations
- Lead product marketing and positioning, creating clear, differentiated narratives across a complex product and customer landscape
- Partner closely with sales to strengthen sales enablement and land-and-expand motions
- Drive cross-functional go-to-market execution, including launches and expansion into new customer segments
- Build Prolific’s brand awareness and category presence, ensuring we are top-of-mind for AI and research leaders
Skills
- 10+ years leading and scaling marketing in high-growth tech or scale-up environments
- Proven ownership of a full-stack B2B marketing function, spanning multiple disciplines
- Track record of building and executing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Experience operating in enterprise B2B environments, ideally with complex or technical products
- Deep B2B marketing expertise, particularly in demand generation, ABM, and enterprise GTM
- Ability to translate complex products and markets into clear, differentiated positioning
- Strong understanding of sales enablement and land-and-expand models
- Commercial and analytical mindset, with a focus on pipeline, revenue, and ROI
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Builder mindset, with experience creating structure and processes from first principles
- Evolve marketing to be more AI-forward and scalable, leveraging new tools and approaches to increase speed, insight, and impact across the team
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience overseeing product marketing and brand, even if not your core background
- Strong operator who brings clarity, structure, and alignment to complex organisations
- Comfortable acting as a builder and change agent, not just an optimiser
- Exposure to AI, developer, or data-driven ecosystems strongly preferred
