Overview

The Client Solutions Principal is responsible for providing subject matter expertise throughout the end-to-end sales process with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. They will understand client analytical needs and recommend Forsyth solutions based upon those needs. The role will lead a small team and collaborate with Forsyth cross-functional teams, including Data, Product and Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of Client Solutions team members and provide leadership to advance client business initiatives.
  • Understand client problems and assess needs through investigation; match Pharmaceutical client challenges with Forsyth capabilities.
  • Translate identified business questions and challenges into data-based solutions aligned to Forsyth data model.
  • Proactively provide recommendations regarding pharmacy trends and insights derived from client-specific data.
  • Contribute to and coordinate content for Statements of Work (SOW) that align with capabilities and timelines.
  • Map client needs to available data and products; work with data to create scalable feasibility requirements.
  • Establish strong internal and external relationships and serve as primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery for clinical analytic needs.
  • Represent clients internally and coordinate with other functional areas to implement client initiatives, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs.
  • Ensure alignment among internal teams regarding client contract deliverables; provide client background/history where applicable.
  • Manage client expectations and secure approvals at key milestones; set service meetings post-sale and establish goals for those meetings.
  • Manage all aspects of implementation in alignment with deliverables identified by BD upon contract execution; coordinate client training and support strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strategies for expanding scopes of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain advanced understanding of Forsyth offerings and expertise in Forsyth data and use cases; stay informed about Forsyth position versus competitors (positioning, pricing, differentiation).
  • Translate and act as a liaison between Business Development, Data, and Product teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience supporting data sales, specifically in life sciences.
  • Experience leading a team preferred.
  • Experience working directly with (or for) Pharma Manufacturers (Commercial analytics, sales operations, Market Access analytics, payer marketing, HEOR, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency with SQL and Excel required.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written).
  • Looks for innovative ways to complete deliverables; organized and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Possesses problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to drive results.
  • Adapts to ambiguous or unfamiliar terrains; strong collaboration skills and ability to work with leadership and matrix partners.
