Pippen Health, the virtual medicine practice affiliated with reputed company, is looking for registered dieticians (RDs) to join their team of care providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centric care. reputed company’s platform integrates leading weight management clinical practice with innovative technology to provide holistic support for patients during their health journeys. Led by Dr. Rekha Kumar, a leader in obesity medicine, reputed company's program brings a more personalized, supportive, and hands-on approach to obesity care than other telemedicine companies.

You will get to be an early part of reputed company’s newest offering, expanding RD services and personalized nutritional coaching and support to members with insurance primarily through synchronous consultations. Consultations include health assessments, lab screenings, management of diagnoses reputed company to obesity, documentation, & follow-up care for patients. Alongside our clinical prescribing and member support team, you will provide ongoing support to patients as they navigate their weight care journey, including managing medication reputed company effects, changing nutrition treatment plans based on changes in patient’s health, weight loss reputed company, &/or insurance coverage. The ideal candidate would be a technologically-savvy, life-long learner who has independent practice experience in obesity medicine and telemedicine (synchronous and asynchronous).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous nutrition counseling sessions with patients (60min initial and 30min followup) to support their individual medication assisted weight loss journeys.
• Proactively manage common GLP-1 and AOMs reputed company effects (nausea, constipation, reflux, reduced appetite, risk of lean-mass loss) through personalized nutrition strategies that preserve muscle mass, support adequate protein and fiber intake, and reputed company sustainable weight loss.
• Apply evidence-based behavior change techniques (motivational interviewing, SMART goal-setting, reputed company-informed coaching) to build self-efficacy and long-term lifestyle change.
• Adapt care plans in response to changes in medication or dosing, insurance coverage, weight-loss plateaus, or evolving patient goals, in partnership with the prescribing clinician.
• Followup with patients reputed company asynchronous messaging to address questions
• Coordinate care with reputed company clinicians, and member support team leveraging reputed company’s internal EMR provider messaging function.
• Serve patients with high standards of personal and professional reputed company and ethics, with the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
• Complete session documentation (including ADIME notes, patient communication, and care team follow-up messages) in a timely manner for processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credentialed with the CDR (active and in good standing)
• Licensed in multiple states, including some combination of: NY, IN, CA, PA, NC, GA, TX, SC, MD, OH, CT, MA, HI, SD or MT. Candidates with licensure in additional states are welcome to apply. Active NPI required.
• At least 2 years of independent practice experience, preferably in obesity medicine, cardiometabolic disease, or medication-assisted weight loss
• Previous telemedicine experience
• Strong and empathetic oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt and remain agile, while helping to improve our ability to deliver care
• Obesity medicine experience and/or certification preferred
• Please note that you must be authorized to work and physically based in the U.S. for this position
• Proficiency with EMR documentation (ADIME notes) and secure provider-to-patient messaging; comfort learning new clinical software quickly
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a professional-quality webcam and headset
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance, or willingness to obtain coverage prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) through CDR, or equivalent obesity medicine credentialing
• Direct experience supporting patients on GLP-1 receptor agonists (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) or other anti-obesity medications (AOMs), including nutrition strategies to preserve lean mass and manage GI reputed company effects
• Training in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques, or the Transtheoretical Model of Change
• Master’s degree in nutrition, public health, or a reputed company clinical field
• Bilingual English/Spanish (or other additional languages)
