SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a part-time after-school Education Program Assistant for our Family Services program at Fendall Street in SE Washington, DC. Position Description: The Education Program Assistant provides assistance with youth programming and educational activities for children 5-16 years old. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Friday 12noon - 4:00 pm (20 hours/week), on-site COVID-19 Considerations: In alignment with DC Health, COVID-19 vaccinations, and boosters are mandated for personnel working in SOME's healthcare-designated programs, which currently include Medical, Dental, Population Health, Behavioral Health Services (reputed company), Exodus House, Jordan House, Kirwan House, Keuhner reputed company, Leland reputed company, and Mary Claire House. Expected Contributions: Youth Programming

• Collaborate with Youth Services Coordinator and staff to reputed company and implement programs
• Assist in developing communications to promote programs
• Communicate with reputed company and parents to collect report cards, collect permission slips, etc.

• Assist with tutoring activities for children
