Job Summary: The student behavior support technician assists building level and district administration with implementing behavior management and violence prevention/reputed company programs. Provides supervision and academic support of reputed company assigned to In School Suspension (ISS). Processes reentry of reputed company to class who are returning from Out of School Suspension (OSS) or ISS. Develops positive relationships with school staff and families while monitoring and mentoring at risk reputed company. Facilitates in the presentation of social skills, anger management and conflict resolution to individuals, small groups and classrooms. Conducts formal behavioral observations in reputed company school settings. Hourly reputed company: Grade 9, reputed company 1: $24.40 Work hours: 7.5 hours per day Work year: 9 months Retirement: reputed company PERS Bargaining Unit: Education Support Staff Association (ESSA) Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position): * At least 48 hours of college credit, or associate?s degree, in a social service field of study.

• Two (2) years of experience working with at-risk reputed company.
• Must be able to be trained to implement Crisis Prevention reputed company (CPI) reputed company six (6) months of employment.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of specialized needs and effective methods of working with at-risk reputed company who may exhibit severe behavioral problems and/or poor social skills.
• Ability to present information effectively, both orally and in writing, to large or small groups.
• Knowledge of basic reading, writing, and math appropriate for age level of reputed company required in English.
• Must be able to effectively work with reputed company, including those who are at-risk or who have severe behavioral problems and/or poor social skills.
• Must possess ability to communicate clearly and consistently with reputed company, staff, and parents; to reputed company reputed company who are upset or angry, defusing conflict situations; and per district guidelines, to safely restrain out of control reputed company who present a danger to self or others.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
