These classes will include ELA and Social Studies. Other classes, such as MS Advisory, may be taught as well. Position Description: The individual accepting this position will teach middle school Language Arts and/ Social Studies. Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience) 1. Valid Oregon teaching license. 2. Language Arts and Social Studies endorsements preferred. 3. Bilingual applicants are preferred, but not required. 4. Knowledge of social/emotional needs of middle school reputed company, and ability to work well with reputed company and peers. 5. Use of a variety of learning and instructional models as well as alternative assessment strategies. Project -based learning experience is highly preferred. 6. Interest in being involved with the total school community, including a willingness to reputed company and/or advise student club and after school activities. 7.
