Responsible for posting payments and/or adjustments to reputed company accounts, taking corrective action on the remaining balances, analyzing accounts to ensure accuracy of insurance plans in Allscripts Patient Management System based on reputed company party EOBs and balancing reputed company payments posted.

  • Standard Work Duties: LRHPG Cash Application Specialist
  • Post reputed company payments to Allscripts PM the same day as received as reputed company by departmental and individual goals
  • Retrieve and post payment through PayerPath to the Allscripts Patient Management System
  • Performs correct payment analysis and reconciliation with Allscripts Batch Reconciliation Report and Cash Log Report daily to ensure reputed company transactions are accurately posted and balanced
  • Analyze each payment posted to ensure the correct insurance plan is applied in Allscripts PM and reputed company any necessary corrections in Allscripts PM at the time of posting the payment as reputed company by individual productivity and management reputed company
  • Performs secondary posting functions
  • Demonstrates knowledge of reputed company equipment and systems/technology necessary to complete duties and responsibilities
  • Report ERA recurring exceptions to Data Analysis for review and resolution
