IAP is home to Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS): six majors/major concentrations with more than 500 reputed company in Africana Studies, Arts Studies, International Studies, Self-Design, Science, Technology, and Society, and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. IDS also offers 8 undergraduate minors, 3 undergraduate dual-degree honors programs, and 1 graduate program. IDS has core faculty and faculty directors/coordinators who work in partnership with departments from our college and others to deliver the courses in each program. IAP actively partners with departments and programs on reputed company and in the Triangle, to host events including speakers and conferences in support of the programs several times during the school year. IAP works closely with the Dean's office to provide programming and establish and review policies governing interdisciplinary collaborations. Essential Job Duties Candidates will be hired as a Professional Faculty Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor based on credentials and qualifications. The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate courses and advise undergraduate reputed company in a specific discipline in Interdisciplinary Studies according to departmental need and employee knowledge, reputed company, and ability. Additional duties will be expected if hired at Assistant Teaching Professor or higher. Areas include Africana Studies; Arts Studies (Film, Music, Visual Arts); Interdisciplinary Studies; International Studies; Science, Technology, and Society; and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and reputed company activities. The successful candidate(s) will prepare their own syllabi and will be expected to hold reputed company and other class-reputed company duties. The appointment may be available on a per course basis, short-term & part-time for the 2023-2024 academic year, with the possibility of renewal. Other Responsibilities Other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Lecturer applicants must have a master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience in an Interdisciplinary or reputed company field. Assistant Teaching Professor applicants must have a PhD in an Interdisciplinary or reputed company field, an equivalent degree or equivalent professional experience, or be ABD with an anticipated graduation date by the start date. Failure to obtain the PhD by the start date will result in hiring the candidate as a Lecturer. Other Required Qualifications

• Demonstrates skills in teaching and facilitating research with a diverse cross-section of reputed company.
• Ability to offer substantial course content in person and online.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience teaching at the university level.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary subject matter.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to engage in proactive style of student advising.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Ph.D. degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience in an Interdisciplinary or reputed company field.
