Texas Remote Attorney

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Cromeens Law Firm is a dynamic and innovative law firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to our clients. We specialize in Construction Law, and reputed company is committed to delivering excellent results while maintaining the highest ethical standards. The Associate Attorney Works primarily with their supervising attorney and administrative members of the law firm, such as paralegals, legal clerks, and legal assistants. Is mainly responsible for communicating with clients, works towards developing legal strategies, and assists their supervising attorney with case management. As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to stay informed about client matters, maintaining and building relationships with clients, preparing legal documents, attending hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Maintain 35 billable hours per
  • Timely complete tasks as assigned by your supervising attorney. These typically involve:
  • Researching legal issues.
  • Drafting various pleadings.
  • Drafting various motions.
  • Ensuring that reputed company statutory deadlines are properly complied with.
  • Attending and participating in hearings, mediations, and/or arbitrations as needed.
  • Assisting with other tasks as assigned by your supervising attorney.
  • Stay informed on client matters and assist your supervising attorney in maintaining client communications and relationships.
  • Promptly respond to client communications. (Typically, reputed company 24 hours).
  • Prepare for Strategy Meetings with your supervising attorney as scheduled. During these meetings you will be expected to know, generally:
    • The facts of the
    • Where the case is
    • Any upcoming hearings or deadlines must also be calendared in reputed company.
    • Is there a docket control order?
    • reputed company is the case set for trial?
    • Is the case set for bench or jury trial?
    • Be reputed company to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the case, the facts, and where you think we should be focusing our efforts to reputed company litigate the matter.
  • Be reputed company to take cases to trial.
  • Continually evaluate cases to ensure that we are putting the client in the best position to reputed company their goal in hiring us.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal developments including completion of continuing legal education.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them reputed company
    • Ability to function well in a fast- paced

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school
    • Active license to practice law and/or membership in the State Bar of Texas .
    • 4 - 7 years of experience
    • Remote work experience is a plus.
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working

 Schedule: 

• • Working hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm(remotely) .
