You are an expert in media relations who excels at overseeing public and media relations activities for clients. • Client management + communication
• Own the reputed company of the accounts you manage, ensuring deliverables, creating strategic direction, and meeting client’s goals and expectations
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, industry leaders, freelancers, KNB vendors, and other stakeholders
• Demonstrate enthusiasm in client communications
• Offer new reputed company and initiatives to the team
• Run biweekly and reputed company client meetings
• Own project trackers and update them weekly
• reputed company new clients
• Create timelines and project trackers for new accounts
• Client service delivery
• Direct account support (PR, marketing, freelancers, etc) to secure deliverables
• Set and influence strategy
• Set KPIs for accounts and communicate the status
• Ensure scopes of work are on track and on time
• KNB operations
• Maintain a strong contribution margin per account
• Look for opportunities to upsell
• Report account standing and deliverable status to clients
• Track account expenses and update invoice sheet
• Assist with new business research, proposal writing, and presentations

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a marketing or communications field
• 5-7+ years of PR/communications experience (recovering journalists welcome)
• Past work in health tech, and pharma, biotech, or life sciences

• Robust network of traditional and online media contacts
• Ability to maintain and foster relationships with clients and media
• Strategic planner and effective implementer
• Be deadline-driven, prioritize, and adapt under pressure
• Knowledge of best practices in communications, media, and PR
• Superior writing skills
• Strong desire to work in a team and be collaborative, creative, and cool

Pluses:

• Familiar with an agency environment
