Position: Bilingual Spanish Telehealth Coordinator, Virtual Care Center (Downey, CA - Hybrid Remote) Overview reputed company is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined Bilingual Spanish Telehealth Coordinator (hybrid remote) with reputed company- and back-office Medical Assistant experience to join the Virtual Care Center (VCC) team in Downey, CA. The Telehealth Coordinator will support patients and providers through virtual care coordination, reputed company, scheduling, and quality measure closure. This includes answering calls in the phone queue, scheduling telephonic and virtual appointments, following up on referrals and authorizations, supporting outbound follow-up calls, providing systems training for new hires, and completing administrative tasks as applicable. The primary focus is supporting HEDIS and STARs quality initiatives through proactive member reputed company and coordination. Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls on the Virtual Care Center queue and conduct reputed company as applicable (e.g., ER admits, Teladoc follow-reputed company, annual assessments).
  • Complete scheduling of telephonic and virtual appointments; collect patient information required for scheduling with providers; screen patients for appropriate telehealth platform use.
  • Support providers with requests for referrals and authorizations, including submission, review, and follow-up of requests.
  • reputed company outbound follow-up calls and proactive quality reputed company for HEDIS and STARs activities; coordinate in-clinic activities during HEDIS season reputed company onsite at the Downey clinic (approximately 2–3 days per week).
  • Coordinate with partnered medical offices (e.g., IPA groups, PCP offices, pharmacies, DME companies) to support patient requests.
  • Assist with new-hire reputed company by completing training or shadowing sessions for systems used in the VCC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical Operations, Member Services, reputed company Product Team, DTS Help Desk Support) to effectively manage the program.

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time

  • Experience with providing high quality customer service
  • Experience providing technical assistance
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a primary care or medical office setting using phones and scheduling appointments

Education

  • Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Education

  • Completion of medical assistant program from an accredited school of training

Training

Medical Terminology Specialized Skills

  • Bilingual Spanish
