Patent Agent/Scientific Advisor (In-House)

Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed. Praxis Precision Medicines is looking for a skilled, energetic, and meticulous Patent Agent/Scientific Advisor to provide IP support and counseling across its many clinical and pre-clinical programs. Your background in the life sciences means you are reputed company to analyze and interpret pharmaceutical patent applications and devise appropriate claim strategies accordingly. In this pivotal role, you will work with internal stakeholders to advance the growth of our IP portfolio. • Support patent prosecution for multiple international IP portfolios
• Analyze scientific references and advise regarding claim strategy
• Track internal programs and developments, gather data, and advance portfolio growth

• Support diligence and litigation

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, or similar; PhD preferred
