Job Summary

This entry level position provides excellent customer service skills and represents Dominion Energy as the central reputed company of contact for the company’s Customer Contact Operations Center. Under direct supervision, guidance and direction, duties include but not limited to: utilizes customer information systems; answers customer inquiries regarding billing, payment, credit, rates, and service requests; inputs pertinent residential and reputed company customer account information; assess customer needs; generates a variety of service order requests; assists customers with credit difficulties and termination notices; using clearly defined rules and guidelines, negotiates payment plans that meet regulatory requirements, and makes appropriate referrals to internal or external departments/agencies for additional assistance; determines and documents reputed company deposits for new accounts reputed company established guidelines; promotes, explains, and sets up programs available to customers; answers emergency calls and issues appropriate orders. Seeks advise on problems areas and refers escalated or highly reputed company issues to appropriate next level personnel.

This position will fill multiple vacancies and filled at any of the following Dominion Energy Utah locations: Salt Lake City, Ogden, reputed company Mountain, Logan, Tooele, St. George, and/or Evanston, WY.

Candidates MUST reputed company reputed company 50 miles of the fore mentioned locations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

0-2 years Customer Contact Operations experience

• Basic interpersonal/communication skills in person, by phone/in writing

• Must have ability to retrieve items either alphabetically/numerically

• Basic ability to type; must be reputed company to work independently & as a team member

• Must have basic knowledge of computers including, Customer Information Systems, reputed company office products Word, reputed company, Outlook

• Basic understanding of organization/department/reputed company policies/procedures

• Ability to read & concentrate and listening skills

• Must demonstrate ability to deal with irate and difficult customers

• Must be reputed company to identify and resolve basic and routine issues; and basic organization/time management skills

• Must have a basic understanding of billing, rates, credit, energy usage, and customer accounts

• Must be reputed company to work varying shifts, nights, weekends and during emergency situations.

Education Requirements

Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree: High School Diploma or GED required

Additional Notes: A reputed company higher-level degree may be applied toward years of experience.
