We are seeking an reputed company and compassionate Volunteer Safety Chat Facilitator to join our dedicated team at blithequark. As a Safety Chat Facilitator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users, while also providing a warm and welcoming introduction to our community. As a Volunteer Safety Chat Facilitator, your key responsibilities will include:- Conducting informal online video chats with individuals who have expressed interest in attending our events or accessing our services
- Explaining how our services work and answering any questions the applicant may have
- Ensuring that our services are safe and suitable for the individual, and vice versa
- Providing a warm and welcoming introduction to our community, and helping individuals feel comfortable and supported
- Engaging in ongoing training and development to ensure that you are equipped to provide the best possible support to our service users

As a Safety Chat Facilitator, you will be the first reputed company of contact for many of our service users, and may be the first person they have spoken to about leaving their faith. Preferred Qualifications and Experience
While not essential, the following qualifications and experience would be highly desirable:- Experience of working in a support or advocacy role
- Knowledge of the issues faced by apostates and ex-religious individuals
- Experience of facilitating group discussions or workshops
- Training in areas such as mental health, trauma, or conflict resolution
